Is your surgeon’s board certification appropriate for the procedures they perform?

Make sure you have rapport not only with the physician, but the staff as well

You should feel comfortable that the doctor and the staff take an interest in you as an individual. You are embarking on what will become a close relationship with the staff as well as the doctor. Being able to communicate with them (and they with you) is vital to achieving high patient satisfaction.

Find out about their patients’ education process

Will you be provided with different options to achieve your goals or is it more “one size fits all?”  Dr. Jasin feels strongly in providing various options to the patient during the consultation process and then choosing the options which best suit the patient’s criteria. This allows for a more personalized treatment plan. 

You should receive thorough instructions to prepare you for your surgery and be seen frequently post-operatively to monitor your progress.
