Face & Neck Liposuction Procedure
To begin face and neck liposuction, small incisions are made beneath the chin and/or in front of the earlobes. Then, a small metal tube, called a cannula, is inserted beneath the skin. The cannula acts as a suction that removes fat cells. Once this is performed, the incisions are closed. Once fat cells are removed, they never grow back, but they may enlarge with weight gain.
