Simplicity Facelift Procedure
To begin your face lift, after our team administers a local anesthetic, your surgeon makes small incisions in front of and behind your ears. The surgeon then frees fibrous and muscle tissue below the skin from its underlying attachments so that the tissue can be repositioned, creating a better lift. Then comes one of the most important aspects in this signature procedure: a special stitch called the "pulley stitch," developed by Dr. Jasin, lifts and tightens the cheeks, jowls, and neck. Your surgeon removes any excess skin and sutures the incisions. All patients receive treatment in our state-of-the-art, fully accredited facility in Tampa.
The Simplicity Facelift can be performed under local anesthesia, increasing safety for patients who are not interested in general anesthesia. You may choose to combine this procedure with others, such as a brow lift, laser skin resurfacing, or eyelid surgery (also called blepharoplasty). Recovery
We consider the Simplicity Facelift to be a "weekend recovery" procedure. Most patients feel like themselves again in about 4 to 5 days, as opposed to the several weeks required for a traditional face lift. Tampa, Florida, patients also experience minimal swelling and bruising during the recovery period. Our team removes sutures in front of the ear after 1 week and behind the ear after 2 weeks.
Like a traditional facelift, the Simplicity Facelift addresses problems in the lower portion of the face, jawline, and neck, but Dr. Jasin's special method requires minimal recovery and much less operative time. As always, Dr. Jasin pays particular attention to maintaining a natural look, which keeps you looking like yourself, only better.
