Simplicity Neck Lift Procedure
To begin a simplicity neck lift procedure, a 1-inch incision is made under the chin. Liposuction is used to remove the excess fat, and the skin is raised off of the underlying muscle. Then, the platysma muscle is stitched together from each side, creating a "sling" which defines the angle between the chin and neck while simultaneously removing vertical bands and providing support to the neck tissues. Finally, the incision is closed.
