No. The Simplicity Lift will give you results that improve the lower portion of the face: the cheeks, the jaw line and the neck. If you have upper eyelids that sag or droop or lower lids that are puffy or have bags, you may want to consider the addition of either or both eyelid lifts (upper or lower). Also, if your brow causes hooding to your eyelids or is furrowed, a forehead lift will restore the area to a youthful, more relaxed and rested look.
No. A facelift lifts and tightens your skin, muscles and connective tissues, which may help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, but only other procedures, such as Botox ® injections and/or injectable dermal fillers will actually reduce wrinkles. These treatments can be done in conjunction with your facelift to give you optimum results.
Because Dr. Jasin strives to make most surgeries minimally invasive, most people feel well enough immediately post-op to enjoy amenities such as a complimentary facial. Another cosmetic procedure that can add years to the beauty of your skin is laser skin resurfacing. The depth of laser skin resurfacing treatments can be customized to create dramatic results with a lower rate of downtime compared to other procedures.
People who opt for cheek and/or chin implants sometimes discover they don't need other cosmetic surgery procedures once their implants have been placed. Sometimes Dr. Jasin will encourage you to take a wait-and-see attitude, depending on his experience with patients in your situation. Often, though, it's perfectly fine to have them other procedures done in conjunction with the placing of cheek/chin implants. Facelifts and rhinoplasty are two surgeries many people choose to have done along with chin and/or cheek implants.
If you have multiple procedures done, you can expect a slightly longer recovery time than from having only one done, but not significantly. Thus combining rhinoplasty and cheek implant procedures will probably allow a return to normal activity in one to two weeks, shading slightly more toward two weeks, but not significantly longer than that in most cases, as opposed to a total of two to three weeks' inactive recovery time for the procedures done separately.
