GFX - The Botox Alternative
Serving Tampa, St. Petersburg, Lakeland, and Sarasota
Vertical Frown lines between the brows produce a frowning or scowling expression that most associate with displeasure or anger. However, many of us make these frowning movements without realizing it, particularly now that so many of us spend the day over computer screens.
Until now, Botox was the primary solution for this problem. Whether due to its short-term effects, or distaste of injecting a toxin, many people choose not to have Botox treatments. A novel new therapy, known as GFX, is currently being investigated as a long-term alternative to Botox. Performed under local anesthesia, GFX combines electrical stimulation to localize the specific nerve branches with radiofrequency energy to produce what is known as a thermal ellipse. This relaxes the frown muscles and reduces or eliminates frown lines. Looking ahead, GFX may be used for forehead lines and brow elevation as well.

The Jasin Facial Rejuvenation Institute is one of ten sites in the U.S. and Canada designated to evaluate the short and long-term results of GFX. Dr. Jasin has been instrumental in refining the technique of GFX, thus improving the results seen with this procedure. Dr. Jasin regularly trains other physicians on the GFX procedure. All treatments are personally rendered by Dr. Jasin.
