Plastic surgeon, Michael E. Jasin, M.D. is Certified by The American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He has been a Tampa resident since childhood. He was accepted for undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida after his junior year in high school and received early admission to the USF College of Medicine in just three years. He received his M.D. in 1978, spent his internship in General Surgery at USF, and completed a residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina, in preparation for receiving his Board Certification.
Raised in Tampa, Dr. Jasin was accepted to the University of South Florida for undergraduate studies following his junior year in high school at the age of 16. After just three years of undergraduate studies he was accepted into the USF College of Medicine at age 19. After graduating in 1978, he served at General Surgery Internship at USF and a Residency in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina.
The Jasin Facial Rejuvenation Institute was opened in 1982. Dr. Jasin delivers the highest quality care to his patients, and provides educational opportunities for his staff, so that they can confidently serve his patients’ needs.

Dr. Jasin teaches other doctors
Not only does Dr. Jasin provide educational opportunities for his patients and his staff, he also teaches other doctors. Dr. Jasin has been instructing other physicians on laser surgery techniques since 1994, and is currently teaching Radiesse injection techniques on an international basis.
The Jasin Facial Rejuvenation Institute also serves as a training site for physicians from all over the world to learn various laser and injectable filler techniques. Plastic surgeon, Dr. Jasin has been appointed to the Laser Subcommittee for the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, and has been an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of South Florida. He serves on the National Education Faculty for BOTOX® and Radiesse, and recently was a featured speaker at the first worldwide summit for Radiesse in Innsbruck, Austria.
In addition to educating, Dr. Jasin participates in clinical studies, such as the study for Juvederm, and sits on various advisory boards. Dr. Jasin has held several medical staff offices at University Community Hospital including: Director of Surgical Subspecialties, Chief of the Section of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, and Chairman of the Laser Safety Committee. He is always on the leading edge.
When Dr. Jasin is not working, you can find him playing golf, taking the family out for a cruise in the speed boat, catching a Florida Gators game, or relaxing with a good book.

Dr. Jasin recently visited Seoul, South Korea where he was invited to be the honored guest and Key speaker for the BioForm Medical Leadership Council Meeting. This meeting was attended by leaders in injectable fillers from 11 Asian countries. At the meeting, Dr. Jasin shared his techniques for facial contouring and rejuvenation with the semi-permanent filler Radiesse. Dr. Jasin also was invited to speak at the "Radiesse Grand Symposium" and the meeting "New Trends in Botultinum Toxin" in Seoul. The latter two meetings were attended by 100-150 physicians from Korea. At each, Dr. Jasin presented his experience with Radiesse as a facial filler, as well as Botox for facial rejuvenation.
While in Korea, Dr. Jasin had the opportunity to visit several clinics where he performed one-on-one training sessions with Korean plastic surgeons and dermatologists. Dr. Jasin also spent a day in Hong Kong performing training sessions with physicians in 3 different clinics.
After returning from Korea, Dr. Jasin traveled to San Diego, California to participate as a presenter during a 5 hour session on injectable fillers at the Fall Meeting of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Jasin presented his technique on nasal re-contouring (non-surgical rhinoplasty) with Radiesse.
