Eyelid Lift
The eyes are the focal point of the face and the one feature which we associate most with personal identity. Aging eyelids can obscure youth, happiness, and the way you truly feel about yourself, making you look tired, sad, and older than you really are. Dr. Jasin utilizes a sutureless internal incision technique for his blepharoplasties.
An eyelid lift, or blepharoplasty, can rejuvenate upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both. For some, eyelid surgery can even improve vision.
Upper Eyelids
Over time, upper lids begin to sag, droop, and appear puffy, due to fat deposits and loss of skin elasticity. Upper blepharoplasty removes excess skin and fat from the upper eyelids. A small incision is made in the natural fold of the eyelid, so there is minimal scarring.
The end result is a more rested, refreshed appearance
Lower Eyelids
Lower eyelids often become puffy or baggy and dark circles appear. Removal or re-positioning of fat beneath the eyes, along with removal of excess skin can eliminate the puffiness, bags, and dark circles. Laser skin resurfacing can also improve the skin on the lower lids. Dr. Jasin utilizes a sutureless internal incision technique for his blepharoplasties.
An eyelid lift can be performed on the upper lids, lower lids, or both and can be a stand-alone procedure or can be combined with other facial procedures such as a forehead lift, face lift, or laser skin resurfacing.
